No one could think about AC Milan as a leading team after last summer.
There was a revolution in the roster and to think that Thiago Silva could be replaced by Acerbi or Zlatan Ibrahimovic replaced by Giampaolo Pazzini was a nightmare for the AC Milan fans.

But AC Milan still remains a leading team or not?

AC Milan is in Champions League again, together with the top team, so it' a top team!
By now, we had seen a good team in Champions League and we faced some good notes also in Serie A to be confident for the future. Playing at San Siro remains a problem considering the results, but in the away matches the Team was very strong and with some new top class players.
Everyone has in his eyes the triumph with Anderlecht (at Bruxelles) and the match with Juventus, but also the wonderful match played with FC Internazionale, where just some referee's mistekes allowed that the team was defeat.
Everyone has seen the Mexes's goal in Belgium and all the goals of Stephan El Sharaawy, but also the Montolivo crosses or the De Sciglio's runs.

Key players

The end of Ibrahimovic era opens the door for a group of players, some new and some with a large experience.
The spotlight is pointed on 'the Little Pharaoh', that is irresistible in Serie A, and very important in the Europa's games. He runs, he covers in defense and he strikes in goal. Now he's the testimonial for Nike and every Team Manager is paying attention about El Sharaawy. The young player has another friend in the short list of the rising stars of football: Mattia De Sciglio.

"I keep an extra eye on Mattia as he plays the same position that I used to," said assistant coach Mauro Tassotti. "He has amazed us since his first training sessions with the first team. He is stronger than I was at his age".
Daniele Bonera was the first choice of Massimiliano Allegri for the center of the defense before the injury, and is one of the other team leader, as Mario Yepes or Philippe Mexes.

What's wrong

The goalkeeper is the big problem, as the recursive goal kept from corner or penalty! The position in Serie A's table depends in the same parts from defense and the difficulties to score. Some players are too much under their standard, we are thinkink about Kevin Boateng or Nocerino. Currently, AC Milan is not a spectacular team, but there were been some good games, playing better in the second half than the first one.
There are a lot of reasons to believe that this team can do better in 2013 and we are sure that Mr Berlusconi and Mr Galliani are working for it.
